LATISSE®

Eyelash Enhancement Treatment

Would You Like To Have Longer,

Thicker, Darker Looking Eyelashes?

Eyelash Enhancement.

Many people have hypotrichosis (HY-poh-trih-KOH-sis), an eye condition by which they have inadequate or insufficient eyelashes.

If this sounds like you, then you may be a candidate for LATISSE®. If you currently use cover-up treatments like false eyelashes, eyelash extensions, or tinting to mask the problem, then it’s time to talk to one of our optometrists.

Latisse® is the most trusted and only Health Canada-approved eyelash serum in Canada.

For less time and money than fills, or eyelash extensions, you can regrow your own natural lashes in the privacy of your home. Plus, unlike fills, or extensions, they won't fall off in the pool, while skiing, going to the gym, or while running your next marathon.

LATISSE® treatments allow you to wash normally around your eye area and completely remove your makeup, further promoting proper lid hygiene and eyelash health.

Plus, no more medispa or lash bar appointments are required. It's as easy as talking to one of our optometrists during your next routine eye exam or medical eye visit.

Eyelash Consultation.

LATISSE® is a prescription product prescribed by an optometrist, ophthalmologist or cosmetic surgeon to help treat hypotrichosis in both women and men.

Before prescribing LATISSE®, however, an eye doctor must perform a thorough eye exam to ensure that there isn't an underlying cause for your thin lashes. Most eyelash thinning occurs because of natural aging. Still, premature lash loss can be caused by conditions such as meibomitis, blepharitis, Demodex, nutritional deficiencies, medication side effects, allergies and autoimmune disorders such as alopecia. Therefore, our optometrists may recommend additional treatments to help improve the overall health of your eyelashes or treat any underlying conditions that may be causing lash loss before prescribing LATISSE®.

A valid prescription is required to purchase cosmetic prescription products such as LATISSE®. In addition to these initial consultations, routine follow-ups are necessary to ensure you don't experience any unwanted side effects.

COST: $55.00 or FREE consultation with any complete eye exam.

You Can Achieve Natural, Longer,

Thicker, Darker Eyelashes.

How Quickly Does

LATISSE® Work?

Image of man with long, dark, thick eyelashes.

Latisse® eyelash serum is a popular treatment for people who want to enhance the length and thickness of their eyelashes. While individual results may vary, many patients begin to see visible results within four to six weeks of using Latisse consistently. Over time, Latisse® can help eyelashes grow longer, darker, and fuller, resulting in a more dramatic and striking look. In general, most patients will achieve maximum results in around 16 weeks.

With patience and consistent use, many patients can enjoy the benefits of Latisse® and achieve the look they desire for their eyelashes.

Are LATISSE® Results Permanent?

No, to maintain the results of Latisse®, it is necessary to continue using the product continuously. This is because Latisse® promotes the growth of new eyelash hairs and extends the growth cycle of existing ones. However, once you stop using Latisse®, your eyelashes will gradually return to their original length and thickness over several weeks to months. Therefore, if you want to maintain the results of Latisse®, it is essential to continue using the product as directed by our optometrists. In addition, it is necessary to follow the instructions carefully to avoid any potential side effects and achieve the best possible results.

Important Safety Information:

LATISSE® solution is designed for application to the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes. Do not apply to the lower eyelid. If you are using LUMIGAN® or other medications in the same class to manage elevated intraocular pressure (IOP), or if you have a history of abnormal IOP, use LATISSE® only under your doctor’s supervision. LATISSE® may cause darkening of the eyelid skin, which may be reversible. Although rare in clinical studies, LATISSE® use may lead to increased brown pigmentation of the iris (colored part of the eye), which is likely permanent.

LATISSE® can stimulate hair growth in other areas of the skin if the product comes into contact with those areas. To minimize this risk, blot any excess solution outside the upper eyelid margin with a tissue or absorbent material. Differences in eyelash length, thickness, fullness, pigmentation, number, or direction of growth may occur between eyes and will typically resolve after discontinuing LATISSE®.

The most common side effects are itching and redness of the eyes, occurring in approximately 4% of users. Less common side effects include skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness, and redness of the eyelids, often localized to the application area.

If you experience a new eye condition (e.g., infection or injury), a sudden decrease in vision, undergo eye surgery, or develop ocular reactions such as conjunctivitis or eyelid issues, consult your doctor immediately about continuing LATISSE® use.

Results vary per individual. Consultation is required to determine suitability.
